According to my source, the NCWest CEO stated that the Western version of Aion will start to differ from it’s Korean counterpart starting from the next patch. Does this mean that NCWest will no longer be dependent on Korea for all their updates? Revenue was already up in the first half of the year for the company following the release of Aion across Korea. The game was responsible for more than half of NCsoft’s overall sales in the latest quarter, totalling 970,000 units in just under a week. Looks like NCsoft is throwing some extra incentive out there for those who purchase Aion over the holiday season. Those incentives include the much coveted Black and White dyes and a healthy chunk of Lodas Amulets!
