Generally speaking, being a Gladiator in Aion has seldom negatives, but mostly only positive things. Maybe, the only real issue that the Gladiators should face is the lower damage compared to classes, such as the Ranger, Assassin, Sorcerer, or the Spiritmaster. However, at the same time, they are able to tank, as they can use almost every possible weapon. In accordance with the weapons, Gladiators are able to choose Bows, Blunts, Swords, Duals, Daggers, or Greatswords to assist their fighting in Aion, which gives them a huge amount of advantages when searching for items. But generally they prefer to use either dual swords or Greatswords. In solo combat, Gladiator just acts like the other damage dealing classes in Aion. They attack the mobs in the hopes of killing them before they are killed. However, the situation will be different when they take part in a group with other players.

While fighting in a group, Gladiator has to first make clear what their goal is and whether they are going to tank the mobs or just assist with killing them. Actually, it will influence their skill usage because some skills can create aggression, while others can not. It is important to distinguish between the two types foe all Gladiator players in Aion. On the other hand, Gladiator is one of the most solid build classes in Aion. Though they are a damage dealer, they still have the ability to use Plate armor, which can give them both damage output and defense. Besides, they also have many skills to help produce aggression of mobs, gand to be a tank when necessary. Therefore, it can be said that Gladiator is a very unique class in Aion.
